She's baaaaaack. After her five year hiatus, Heather came back to the Bream Optometry team in 2021 as a (mostly) remote office manager. Heather is in charge of staff scheduling, insurance billing, and is our office administrator. Although, if you're lucky, you may see her working at either our Goleta or Oxnard location in the office. When not working you can find Heather water skiing or rowing in Mission Bay in San Diego, CA. Heather also enjoys crocheting, reading historical fiction, and is always looking for new shows to watch on Netflix or Hulu.

Andrea has been part of the Bream Optometry team since February of 2018. She keeps learning new stuff everyday with the help of the doctors and staff. She is also learning how to bill insurance! On her days off, she loves to spend time with her family and friends. 

Denis joined Bream Optometry in March of 2019. She lives in Santa Barbara and enjoys going on walks with her husband and her two dogs Castiel and Bella. She's happy to be part of the Bream Team! If Denis won the lottery she would use the winnings to buy a house with a big yard in Solvang.

Melany started working at Bream Optometry in October of 2024. Recently graduation from Dos Pueblos High School, Melany hopes to one day work as a real estate agent. She enjoys long walks on the beach and spending time with her family. 

Riley has been part of the team since June of 2019. Riley graduated from Westmont College in May of 2024 with a degree in behavior neuroscience. She will begin applying to PA schools this year. When Riley is not in the office, she enjoys spending time outside, going to concerts with her friends, and learning new things. If Riley could have any superpower it would be teleportation so she could save money on flights and gas!

Sophia has been a part of our team since February of 2023. She is originally from Portland, OR and is currently studying Biological Sciences at UCSB, hoping to become an optometrist. Outside of work, Sophia enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, and crocheting. If Sophia could travel anywhere in the world, she would go to Spain.

Leena began working at Bream Optometry in March of 2023. While attending UCSB, Leena is studying arbor sciences in hopes of discovering the next big fruit, hopefully replacing the apple in American homes. Leena is also very passionate about skeeball and is the defending top score at Bowlero.  

Tanya has been working with us since September of 2024. While studying dance at UCSB, she hopes to combine prosthetic science with dance to create a new style of modern dance. When not at school or work, you might find Tanya watching Mad Max, Blade Runner, and Terminator to expand her passion of cyborgs. 

Nathan started working in our office in October of 2024. He is studying Biopsychology at UCSB and is set to graduate in May of 2026. In his free time, he likes to go to the gym, listen to music, make matcha lattes, hangout with friends, yap, and cafe hop. One day, he wants to have his own private optometry practice!!
